Remarks

Closely related to Pecten excavatus Anton, 1838 from Japan but P. dijkstrai is usually smaller in size and the ribs are weaker and less angular compared to P. excavatus.
only found from north-western coast of Western Australia, possibly to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
